MBP are delighted to announce that Laser Tools Racing and MB Motorsport have extended their partnership as the team looks to defend their 2024 BTCC Drivers’ title in the upcoming 2025 campaign.
In a highly successful partnership, which is set for its third season in the BTCC in 2025, Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport have emerged as a force to be reckoned with on the BTCC grid. Since 2023, the team have collected 16 wins, 28 podiums and 3 pole positions and most recently, the 2024 BTCC Drivers’ title with Jake Hill piloting the #24 WSR-run BMW 330e M Sport. With the partnership going from strength to strength, 2025 not only marks the third consecutive season of BTCC competition but also a fantastic relationship with MBP.
MBP, the relationship-driven sports marketing agency, has been proud to support, foster and cultivate the growth and success of the partnership between Laser Tools, Tool Connection and MB Motorsport, which has now grown into a multi-faceted approach that covers everything from on-track action to a fully-fledged sports marketing strategy that has only served to widen their reach in the BTCC and beyond.
Since the partnership kickstarted in 2023, Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport has embarked on an ever-growing journey to create a new connection between staff, customers and the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship. In the two years, the team welcomed over 400 staff and customers from Laser Tools and Tool Connection trackside, providing a unique race day experience that has created a dedicated fan base full of support for Jake and the team.
However, 2024 saw this taken to the next level. With the support of MBP, Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport expanded their hospitality experience with a dedicated hospitality trackside for every round of the season. This not only provided an elevated experience for Laser Tools staff and customers but also gave new opportunities to foster brand development and engagement.
Alongside the elevated trackside hospitality provided in 2024, MBP lent their expertise to drive forward a carefully crafted sports marketing campaign which focused on maximising brand reach and engagement as Laser Tools Racing celebrated ten years in the BTCC. The season kickstarted with a car launch that set the stage for the season ahead, providing a unique opportunity which engaged the entire Tool Connection workforce, further showcasing the sense of company-wide community and excitement for the year ahead.
From car launches to product-focused content, the Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport social media has been filled with dedicated content that has way surpassed the average values. MBP once again provided their wealth of social media expertise to provide fans, staff and customers alike with unrivalled access to the team's championship-winning season. Now, Laser Tools Racing is widely regarded as a fan favourite and can truly be recognised as a team for the fans in the BTCC!
Mark Blundell, CEO & Founder of MBP is delighted to continue the successful partnership for yet another season:
“We are proud to announce the continuation of the partnership between Laser Tools Racing and MB Motorsport. To achieve championship glory in 2024 was the culmination of two years of incredible effort from everyone involved to bring this programme together and we are delighted to be representing the Laser Tools brand on the BTCC grid for a third successive year.”
“The MBP team have transformed this partnership into an eye-catching one both on and off the track and 2024 saw our biggest year for delivery to date with the exclusive VIP hospitality unit and sports marketing strategy that has given the Laser Tools with MB Motorsport name a coveted reputation in the BTCC paddock. We cannot wait to get 2025 underway where we will be looking to continue growing this fantastic partnership into one that continues to shine.”
Keith Anderson, Laser Tools Racing’s Sponsorship Coordinator:
“We are so delighted to be working once again with everyone at MB Motorsport and Jake Hill in 2025. The two years that we have enjoyed working together so far have been fantastic and that was highlighted by the most dramatic of season finales at Brands Hatch last month. When we announced our partnership with MB Motorsport in February 2023, our late founder Martin Smith remarked that he saw Jake as a future champion and we are all very proud that Martin was proven right. We look forward to all the optimism that the new season brings.”
