MB Partners are delighted to announce that two-time FIA WEC World Champion and 2021 Le Mans 24 Hours winner, Mike Conway, will remain with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing to contest his tenth consecutive campaign in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship.

Racking up an impressive 72 race starts with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, Mike has collected an outstanding 21 race wins and 36 podiums in the top class of the World Endurance Championship and has been crowned World Champion twice in the 2019/20 and 2021 seasons.

Mike has also made nine appearances at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing. Winning the race in 2021, Mike has also stepped onto the podium a further five times in the twice-around-the-clock event.

Mike’s record makes him the most successful British driver ever in the FIA WEC with twenty-one wins, and last years campaign saw the #7 crew round out the season as the most winningest team in 2023, having scored four race wins from seven races, narrowly missing out on setting the all time record for wins in a season to finish second in the championship standings.

2024 will see Mike contest his tenth consecutive season with the Japanese marque, Mike signed with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing back in 2014 as the team’s test and reserve driver and has embarked on an illustrious career with the team ever since his first victory with the team at Bahrain that year.

Lining up for the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship in the ever-expanding Hypercar class, Mike will once again pilot the #7 GR010 HYBRID alongside regular teammate Kamui Kobayashi (Japan) and newcomer Nyck de Vries (Netherlands) who steps in for the departing José María López.

Mike Conway:

"I am looking forward to the new season, which should be even more intense and exciting. There are mixed emotions to be honest, because I have enjoyed six seasons working with José and we had lots of good times together, lots of wins. We became more than team-mates; we became true friends and that’s something I cherish. But I am happy to welcome Nyck to the #7 car next season and looking forward to driving with him. He’s a top driver and a team player so I am sure we will work well together. I can’t wait to get started."
