Mike Conway returns to FIA WEC with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing for 2025 campaign

MBP are delighted to announce that Mike Conway returns to FIA World Endurance Championship action for the 2025 season with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing for his eleventh consecutive campaign.

Since his first race with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing in 2014, Mike and the team have enjoyed 10 years of brilliant success in the pinnacle FIA WEC class, with the British driver amassing 83 race starts

Across these ten successive seasons, Mike has collected two drivers’ titles in 2019/20 and 2021 and accumulated a mighty 22 wins to become Britain’s most successful driver in FIA WEC history, placing him third in the all-time list for FIA WEC race victories in the process.

Alongside this, Mike has made nine appearances at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing. Winning the race in 2021, Mike has also stepped onto the podium a further five times in the twice-around-the-clock event.

This impressive tenure has also seen Mike rack up 48 podiums, helping TOYOTA GAZOO Racing to secure seven manufacturers’ titles in the process.

2025 will see Mike contesting his eleventh consecutive season with the Japanese marque, Mike signed with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing back in 2014 as the team’s test and reserve driver and from that moment has embarked on an illustrious career with the team ever since his first victory with the team at Bahrain later that year.

Joining Mike behind the wheel of the #7 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GR010 Hybrid will be returning teammates, Kamui Kobayashi (Japan) and Nyck De Vries (Netherlands) as the trio look to better their result of 3rd place in the 2024 FIA WEC standings with a renewed 2025 challenge.

Mike and the #7 crew will get their 2025 campaign underway at the Qatar 1812KM on 28 February 2025.
