Jordan Love continued his fine form with the Johor Racing team, as they scored a podium finish in the Pro-Am class at the prestigious Bathurst 12 Hour - coming home in third place in the #88 Triple Eight Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.

Lining up alongside Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Jamie Whincup, the team arrived in Bathurst looking to extend their winning form from the last two races of the Asian Le Mans Series in Abu Dhabi.

The team got up to speed quickly on the 3.861-mile Mount Panorama Circuit as they consistently finished within the top ten overall places in the weekend's practice sessions, topping the timesheets of the fifth practice session.

Jordan was elected for qualifying duties for the #88 Triple Eight entry and delivered a fantastic performance as he took fifth-place at the end of the 30-minute session - allowing the team to qualify for the Top-10 Shootout. In the shootout, Jordan was able to put in another strong lap time, placing the #88 Triple Eight Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO 10th overall and second in the Pro-AM class.

Throughout the twelve-hour race, the team battled hard and overcame several difficult challenges thrown their way, including damage and unpredictable weather conditions. Jordan, in his second appearance at the race in GT3 machinery, and the Johor Racing Team remained in contention for class victory throughout the race and eventually came home to take third place in the Pro-Am class - and 11th overall.

‘Podium in Bathurst - a fantastic result for me and the team. It was a chaotic race, we had such a fast car, which put us in contention for the class win. However, due to misfortune with damage, which inevitably slowed us down, we kept pushing and got on the podium which is a great result and we are all proud of. Racing at Bathurst is always such a blast, and I cannot thank the team and my awesome teammates enough!’
