Gary Paffett is a two-time DTM champion and prolific race winner

Hailing from Bromley, Gary Paffett is a two-time DTM champion who is equalled third in the record books for the greatest number of wins in the DTM series. Currently, Gary is Sporting Director for the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team and the NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team.

"Mark helped me out when I was in a difficult situation at a key point in my career just after winning my first DTM title. I was young and had just secured one of the biggest titles in world motorsport and it was key to capitalise on the success and make the right decisions for my career. As a result of the guidance and support received from Mark and the team at MBP I raced for 12 more seasons in the DTM with Mercedes, securing my 2^nd championship in 2018 and finishing in 2^nd position on three other occasions. I also spent 8 years as a test and reserve driver for the McLaren Formula One team as well as working with Williams F1 for 2 seasons. I am now in a senior management position within the McLaren Electric Racing company which run the Formula E and Extreme E team for the brand.
